2022: Your Generosity at Work

To our KW Family,

As I reflect back on 2022, I could not be more proud to be part of this incredible Keller Williams family. Despite a challenging real estate market that impacted revenue, KW Cares was still able to award more aid than ever before in our history! Of course, none of this would have been possible without the ongoing support of all of you and the unwavering commitment of the staff and board.

Throughout the year, KW Cares worked diligently to accomplish some major initiatives—one of which will create the financial stability needed to help us weather difficult years like 2022. We launched our Reserve Investment Fund Committee, which selected a financial institution partner to guide us through an endowment process. This reserve fund is a critical step in ensuring KW Cares can help future generations of our KW Family for decades to come!

Simultaneously, we earned the highest seals of approval from Candid and Charity Navigator, two independent nonprofit rating agencies. These honored distinctions demonstrate that KW Cares exceeded best practices and industry standards across all areas and that we are committed to financial and operational transparency. Out of all the nonprofit organizations in the United States, fewer than 1% of them achieve this status. KW Cares is thrilled to be part of such a distinguished group. Hence, when you make a donation to KW Cares, you can do so with the utmost confidence that your gift will be used wisely.

We were also able to love and support our KW family during the aftermath of the devastation of Hurricane Ian last year—ultimately awarding $3.6 million in grants and disaster relief in direct response to the storm.

As we closed 2022, we were so grateful for the opportunity to show we stand firm in our mission to serve Keller Williams associates and their qualifying family members during their greatest times of need. But we had to pull from our reserves for the second year in a row to make that happen. So, as we move into 2023, we ask that you help us celebrate our 20th anniversary by pledging your financial support to KW Cares! Unite with us to raise enough funds to support each KW team member in need without having to draw from the reserves again.

Together, we empower, support and protect our KW family! This is the KW culture of caring. This is family helping family. This is KW Cares.

Warmly,
Alexia Rodriguez
