2021: Your Generosity at Work

To our KW Family,

KW Cares had a historic year in 2021! Your generous donations helped us reach more KW Family members than ever before. In 2021, we awarded 69% more grants than the previous year.  Moreover, we gave out $5.7 million in grants and disaster relief—a 46% increase from 2020!

And behind the scenes this past year, we concentrated on improving our internal systems and processes to serve you better. We upgraded technology and hired professional staff in positions that had not previously existed. As we move into this New Year, we are excited for even greater changes to come.

None of this could have happened without the incredible support of our donors. Your generosity is the driving force behind the life-changing opportunities you make possible for our KW Family members. You have our heartfelt gratitude for making it an incredible year.

Here’s to a sensational 2022!

How Your Generosity
Impacts the KW Family

KW Cares grants provide much-needed assistance for Keller Williams associates and their families with financial hardship due to sudden emergencies such as: accidents, house fires, medical emergencies and unaffordable funeral and burial expenses. We also respond swiftly to natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes. wildfires and floods, by providing funds for food, lodging, and transportation and by deploying  generators, water and other disaster relief supplies.

Life-Altering Events

The majority of KW Cares grants are awarded to assist with the out of pocket expenses for life-altering events. Our team is available to serve KW associates and their qualifying family members in times of need. Examples of events include:

  • Heart attack, stroke, cancer, emergency surgeries
  • Physical disability needs such as assistive technology, wheelchairs, wheelchair auto-transport and prosthetics
  • Funeral, burial and cremation expenses due to the sudden loss of an immediate family member
  • Expenses due to unexpected tragedies such as a house fire or natural disaster, including but not limited to: deductibles, structural damage and loss of contents

We step in swiftly during natural disasters, working alongside Regions and Market Centers, distributing funds in response to immediate needs in the aftermath of:

  • Hurricanes
  • Wildfires
  • Flooding
  • Tornadoes
  • Snow Storms
  • Other forms of unexpected natural disasters

Annually, we tithe to board-selected charities in order to expand our reach outside the KW family. These include:
