Giving is an integral part of the KW Culture, and at KW Cares we have seen time and time again that: the more you give, the more you get.
What we mean when we say this, is that giving altruistically and for the good of others adds immeasurable joy and satisfaction to our lives, and sometimes can come back around in inexplicable ways. Call it karma, good luck, or a coincidence, one thing that we’re certain of is that generosity creates a virtuous cycle of reciprocity.
Here’s an example of how we recently saw this concept come to life.
In 2020 the Summit, NJ Market Center, led by Team Leader, Shannon Aronson along with owners Cara Moxley and Howard Bunn, pledged to raise $20,000 to donate to KW Cares as their annual gift. When they got to December, they realized they were about $11,000 short of meeting their goal.
Determined to see through their pledge, the leadership team rallied the NJ Summit Market Center at the 11th hour, and at their last office meeting of 2020 they called on the entire market center to contribute to their collective goal.
To do this, the leadership team encouraged associates to input their information (names and emails) in the Zoom chat as they worked as a team to meet their collective goal. At the end of 2020, they were thrilled to able to exceed their pledge by $1,500!
It doesn’t end there….just a few weeks later, in early January 2021, Shannon Aronson, was randomly selected in the KWRI Bet on Red Campaign and won $10,000!
Congratulations to Shannon, and THANK YOU to Cara, Howard, and the entire NJ Summit Market Center. Your wins are our wins.
Jason Abrams of KWRI recently caught up with Shannon to hear her Bet on Red story!
